Little Girl Serenades Mom Cancer-Stricken Mom With Martina McBride On Ellen

by

The video of little 4-year-old McKenna Stanchak singing Martina McBride’s ‘I’m Gonna Love You Through It’ to her mother Dianna, who is battling cancer, took the Internet by storm, especially after being featured on The Ellen Show last week.

Dianna was diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer on Christmas Eve, 2013 she told Ellen that McKenna “sings to her every day,” and thanked Ellen for sharing the video and giving her “such hope and courage to fight on and keep fighting this battle” that she’s fighting.

Yesterday, Ellen welcomed the mother daughter duo to the show, and brought out a special guest to help McKenna serenade her mom. Martina McBride walked on stage with McKenna and the two sang a heartfelt rendition to Dianna. Ellen then presented Dianna with a check for $20,000 from Shutterfly to help with medical bills. Needless to say, there wasn’t a dry eye in the audience of in the homes of the Ellen viewers.
