From the minute your first child is born you realize just how fast time flies. Moms with older children will say “The days are long, but the years are short,” and sometimes you want to tell them to shut up as you carry a screaming toddler away from the park, or scrape dried something off of your shirt. But then it hits you. You look at your baby, and realize that they were right. You’ll want to slow the world down, to actually try to follow those sage mom’s advice to “Enjoy every minute.”
